The Pan-African Dialogue Institute (TPADI) serves as a non-political platform for Africans, unifying academics, professionals, students, civil society leaders, and grassroots organizers across the continent and the diaspora. It was established to promote the best principles of Pan-Africanism. We are a dialogue and knowledge-driven organization, seeking to empower members to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of Africa and its global diaspora.
Membership of the institute is FREE, voluntary and open to African academics, professionals, students, civil society leaders, educational institutions as well as corporate bodies and non-governmental organizations. You are welcome and qualified to join us if you are:
(a) An African based in Africa or in the diaspora
(b) Willing to study, practice and propagate the tenets, values and ideals of Pan-Africanism
(c) An academic, civil society leader, student, or a recognized professional – engineer, scientist, technocrat, educationist, journalist, lawyer, environmentalist, politician, pharmacist, accountant, physician, artist, entrepreneur, economist, architect, researcher, diplomat, business leader, etc
(d) An educational institution, governmental or non-governmental organization, registered company, civil society group or socio-cultural organization within Africa or in the diaspora; willing to advance the ideals of Pan-Africanism; and committing to the development and well-being of Africans worldwide.
(e) Agree to work with the institute as a volunteer.
Note: Everyone who joins the institute chooses, or is assigned to one or two commissions to participate in meetings, programs and activities. You are advised to choose the commission(s) that relates to your own discipline, expertise and interests.
