As part of efforts to strengthen technical collaboration and adopt global best practices in the delivery of the Pan-African City Project, the President of the Pan-African Dialogue Institute (TPADI) recently held a strategic meeting with international experts and contractors from China, India, and other countries across the world.
The meeting brought together professionals with diverse experience in large-scale infrastructure development, construction management, and institutional projects. The engagement focused on technical consultations, knowledge exchange, and execution strategies relevant to the successful delivery of the Pan-African City Project.
During the discussions, key areas such as construction methodologies, project phasing, quality assurance, sustainability standards, and risk management were examined. The international experts shared insights drawn from comparable projects executed in different regions of the world, offering practical perspectives that will inform decision-making as the project progresses into active construction stages.
The TPADI President emphasized the importance of leveraging international expertise while ensuring that all project activities remain aligned with Africa’s context, regulatory frameworks, and long-term institutional objectives. The President reaffirmed TPADI’s commitment to delivering the Pan-African City Project in line with internationally accepted standards, while maintaining strong local ownership and relevance.

The Pan-African City Project, envisioned as the proposed international headquarters of the Pan-African Dialogue Institute, is a long-term continental infrastructure initiative designed to provide a permanent physical and intellectual home for Pan-African dialogue, research, policy engagement, cultural exchange, and leadership development. Given the scale and significance of the project, collaboration with experienced experts from different parts of the world remains a strategic priority.
The engagement reflects TPADI’s proactive approach to governance and project delivery. By engaging experts and contractors from China, India, and other countries, alongside local professionals, TPADI aims to ensure that the Pan-African City Project benefits from a broad range of technical knowledge, innovation, and best practices.
TPADI will continue to engage relevant international and local partners as the project advances and will provide regular updates on key milestones and developments.
