The Pan-African Dialogue Conference 2024, held May 23–26 at the University of Uyo, brought together scholars, policymakers, and Pan-African thinkers from across Africa and the diaspora to discuss unity, resilience, self-determination, and cultural renaissance.
The event featured the official launch of the Pan African Dialogue Institute (TPADI), chaired by Former President Goodluck Jonathan, with keynote speaker Patrick Mulumba. Highlights included the Africa Day 2024 celebration, marking Nigeria’s first formal commemoration of the historic day.
Governor Umo Eno laid the foundation for TPADI’s International Headquarters, reinforcing Nigeria’s growing role in Pan-African scholarship. Participants explored African-led solutions to development, peace, and governance challenges, aligning with the African Union’s Agenda 2063.
The conference cemented Uyo and TPADI as emerging hubs for Pan-African dialogue, intellectual engagement, and the celebration of Africa’s shared identity and values.
